    1. GAIN INCREDIBLE TEACHING / PRESENTING EXPERIENCE

Hone your presentation skills and help a room of students have an 'aha' moment when they grasp tough concepts, all while raising hundreds of dollars for a meaningful cause. Exam-AID Instructors are not "tutors", they are peer mentors with killer communication skills and a proven ability to lead others.

If you think you have what it takes – give it a try; we’re willing to bet your experience combined with its impact will lead you to do it again.

"Being an Exam-AID Instructor helped me interact with, gain friends from, and become a mentor to an enormous number of students. Its given me a sense of confidence in my ability to understand as well as to explain concepts to others, and that is a skill that has helped me in absolutely every aspect of my life!"
    - Diana Cuckovic, Windsor SOS

    2. MEET NEW PEOPLE - BE PART OF A COMMUNITY

With more than 2000 students part of SOS on campuses across the country, volunteers become part of a incredible national family of superstars who care about others and want to do something remarkable together.

SOS volunteers are fun, driven, high-achievers who realize just how large the scope of their impact can be on those around them and across the world.

"Being a part of SOS connected me to other student leaders both at Queen’s and across Canada. Through online group meetings, social media, and conferences I was able to share successes, challenges, and ideas with volunteers at other universities about how to help students learn. This synergistic approach gave me access to a network of resources on anything from novel recruitment ideas to innovative Exam-AID tactics."
    - Sam Putos, Queen SOS (Co-President)

    3. HAVE A MEANINGFUL IMPACT

SOS is not about fundraising. SOS is about creating value both locally and globally. Our Win-Win-Win model helps your peers get through exams. At $20 a session, these sessions raise money for children without access to education. And the volunteers that make it all happen? Well, they get incredible leadership experience on campus AND have the opportunity to see the impact of their time and effort on a two-week outreach trip where they’ll directly contribute to the project they funded.
